In dieser Artikelserie möchte ich einige Hintergrundinformationen zur Hillsong Church weitergeben. Ich gebe hierbei meine Eindrücke wieder, die ich aus einer Fülle von Artikeln, Videos und Botschaften von Carl Lentz und Freimut Haverkamp, zwei der einflussreichsten Pastoren der Hillsong Church, gewonnen habe. Die Bibel fordert jeden wachsenden Christen auf, das zu beurteilen, was er hört. Der Apostel Paulus forderte die Korinther auf: „Beurteilt ihr, was ich sage“ (1Kor 10,15), und: „Propheten aber lasst zwei oder drei reden, und die anderen lasst urteilen“ (1Kor 14,29).
