Fiecare credincios are unul sau mai multe daruri (1 Corinteni 12). Şi dacă acestea sunt folosite este un câştig pentru serviciul creştin (serviciul divin). Unii au darul de a vesti public Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu, dar mulţi nu au darul acesta. Noi nu avem voie să trecem peste ceea ce ni s-a dat (Romani 12.3-8), atât cu privire la măsura darului cât şi cu privire la faptul că noi am proceda aşa ca şi cum am avea ceva, dar de fapt nu avem.
