In dieser Serie soll es um das in 3. Mose 1 beschriebene Brandopfer gehen. Zuerst wollen wir uns im ersten Teil mit den Kennzeichen und der Bedeutung des Brandopfers beschäftigen (auch im Unterschied zu dem Sünd- und Schuldopfer) und dabei betrachten, welche Bedeutung diese Dinge auch für uns heute haben. Dann in einem zweiten Teil wollen wir mehr auf den Opfernden und die Priester eingehen.
